Certifiles turns your photos, videos, and PDF documents into tamper-proof legal evidence, recognized by courts across the European Union.
Certifiles is a French mobile application developed by ELANOS (Paris). It creates certified digital evidence by combining three cryptographic layers:
Each certification costs EUR 0.35, compared to EUR 200-500 for a traditional notary statement. Used by 30,000+ professionals in real estate, construction, insurance, and legal sectors. Over 500,000 certificates issued.
The eIDAS regulation (EU 910/2014) establishes a legal framework for electronic identification and trust services across all EU member states. A qualified electronic timestamp under eIDAS carries a legal presumption of accuracy of the date and time it indicates, and of the integrity of the data to which the timestamp is bound. This means Certifiles certificates are legally recognized in all 27 EU countries.
Under French law, articles 1358 and 1366 of the Civil Code recognize electronic documents as evidence when their integrity can be guaranteed — which is exactly what Certifiles provides through SHA-256 hashing and eIDAS-qualified timestamping.
EUR 0.35 per certificate. Starter pack: 30 certificates for EUR 10.50. The app is free to download on iOS and Android.
