What is Certifiles?
Legally admissible digital proof in under 10 seconds
Certifiles is a French mobile application developed by ELANOS (Paris). It creates certified digital evidence by combining three cryptographic layers:
- eIDAS-qualified timestamping — proves when the file was created, with a presumption of accuracy before all EU courts (Regulation 910/2014, Article 41)
- Certified GPS geolocation — proves where the file was captured
- SHA-256 hash — guarantees the file has not been altered since certification
Each certification costs EUR 0.35, compared to EUR 200-500 for a traditional notary statement. Used by 30,000+ professionals in real estate, construction, insurance, and legal sectors. Over 500,000 certificates issued.
